The Hayes trained duo both have race experience with the Harry Angel (IRE) filly Angel Rise coming out of the Inglis Banner at Flemington won by Calamari Ring as does Wild Ruler colt Iconic Ruler.

Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young will take the wraps of Ole Kirk colt Ko Phangan, who has had a good grounding at jump outs and trials and jumps from gate two with Mark Zahra on board.

A pinhook winner that was sourced by Sullivan Bloodstock for $75,000 from the A List stud draft at the Magic Millions National Sale, Ko Phangan was then re-offered at Magic Millions in January where he made $260,000 when secured by Busutting Racing.

Ko Phangan was a $260,000 Magic Millions yearling.

Typical of the Ole Kirk’s, he is the third foal of Singing Sand, a metro winning three-quarter sister to stakes-winner Zubbaya from the family of slick stakes-winner Tiger shark, who is by another Written Tycoon stallion in Rich Enuff.

Oman was a $270,000 Magic Millions yearling purchase.

Another interesting first starter for Grahame Begg is Capitalist filly Oman, who has the advantage of gate one with Jordan Childs to ride and will carry the Trilogy Racing colours.

A $270,000 Magic Millions purchase she is the first foal of stakes-winning Hinchinbrook mare Manaya, a half-sister to dual Group I winning $2.3million earner Hot Danish.
