$1million I Am Invincible Filly to Gai and Adrian

Tara Madgwick - Thursday January 15

Champion sire I Am Invincible has already had two fillies sell for a million or more at the Gold Coast this year and had a third first thing on Thursday morning at Magic Millions.

Consigned by Segenhoe Stud, the stylish bay is the second foal of classy Nicconi mare Lankan Star, who was second in the Group I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes.

$1million I Am Invincible filly from Lankan Star.

She was purchased by Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott/Kestrel Thoroughbreds.

“She’s a beauty. A lovely way to start the day and has put a pep in our step for the day,” said Adrian Bott.

“We’re delighted to secure her where we wanted to be and where we wanted to land. We probably didn’t have too much more after that.

“A real quality filly. She’s one to get excited for the way she handled the sale and she profiles up really well with her breeding and pedigree.

“The mare was fast and precocious in her own right so hopefully her daughter can do the same.”

The filly was bred by Allam Bloodstock, who purchased Lankan Star for $600,000 from the 2023 Inglis Chairman’s Sale.

Lankan Star produced a filly by I Am Invincible last year before visiting Anamoe.
