Newhaven Park are being kept busy at Inglis Classic inspections this week with a draft of 14 that showcases eight youngsters by the farm’s promising young sire Cool Aza Beel.

A Group I winning juvenile by champion sire Savabeel, Cool Aza Beel put his name in lights last season when the Newhaven bred and sold colt Cool Archie cut a swathe through the Brisbane Winter Carnival.

Trained by Chris and Corey Munce, Cool Archie was precocious enough to contest the Magic Millions 2YO Classic in January, but blossomed after a spell to reel off five consecutive wins from 1000m to 1600m.

He handled heavy and good tracks and everything in between, seeing off a variety of interstate raiders on his way to a dominant victory in the Group I BRC JJ Atkins (1600m).

Cool Archie finished his season with five wins and a second from nine starts with prizemoney topping $1.6million stamping himself as arguably the best juvenile of his generation.

Cool Archie has continued to produce nice winners including Group placed fillies Fleeting Star and Leaves of Lorien, as well promising winners Cooly, Cobra Club, Azzacool, Polo and Jenni the Cat.

Cool Aza Beel certainly stamps his offspring as you can see below:
