Media Release - Wednesday February 18

Wrote is enjoying another standout season, with results flowing both on the racetrack and in the sales ring.

So far this season he has been represented by three Group winners: Fast Network, winner of the G3 National Day Cup in Hong Kong, and twice placed at G1 level behind Ka Ying Rising. In Australia, Wrote To Arataki captured G3 victory in the Bellmaine Stakes two weeks ago before running a brave third in the G3 Tressady Stakes on Saturday. Closer to home, Midnight Edition added further black type with victory in the G3 Concorde Stakes in New Zealand.

With winners arriving week after week, Wrote’s momentum continues to build.

That racetrack performance translated directly to the sales ring at Karaka, where his two yearlings offered across Book 1 and 2 averaged $170,000 — an outstanding return on his $8,000 service fee in 2024.

Looking ahead, his 2026 book will again be limited to 100 mares. Having covered 196 mares in his past two seasons with excellent fertility, demand remains strong and he is sure to fill his book early.

He’s a sire on the move!
