Mitch Pearce and his team at Crossley Thoroughbreds are preparing for their third Inglis Premier Yearling Sale and are excited to present another top class draft that includes one of only two colts in this year’s sale by champion sire Snitzel.
Situated at Avenel, Crossley Thoroughbreds is well located in terms of climate and has the quality infrastructure to facilitate the preparation of elite yearlings that can progress smoothly from the sale ring to the racetrack.
With ongoing support from satisfied clients such as leading Victorian breeders Makybe, Contract Racing and Seymour Park, Crossley Thoroughbreds will present a draft of 18 this year showcasing a great mix of proven and promising sires.
There are only two colts in Inglis Premier by much missed sire Snitzel and Crossley will present the first of those to be offered as Lot 109.

This BOBS eligible colt from Hot Augusta (NZ) is a half-brother to Group II placed Carina Queen and two more multiple winners, plus promising 3YO Thinkyahot (3g So You Think), who has placed second twice from just three starts for the Moody / Coleman stable.
He is the fifth foal of well related Zabeel mare Hot Augusta, a three-quarter sister-in-blood to Cox Plate winner Maldivian and full sister to Group II winner Adrift, the dam of $1.5million earning Group winner Zarastro.
The family has also produced Group I winning sprinter Entriviere, so it’s quality through and through.

One of Contract Racing’s iconic female families centres around blue hen Razor Blade and Lot 578 is a Pinatubo (IRE) colt that has the typical sprinter’s physique, which has been a hallmark for this super successful family.
He is a half-brother to seven winners including Group II placed Sword of Mercy, stakes-placed Viviane and Millennium Blade (3g Too Darn Hot (GB), who won after the catalogue went to print for the Price Kent stable. He is from stakes-winning Exceed and Excel mare Curtana, a full sister to dual Group I winning sprinter Flamberge.
