Champion Australian sire Zoustar produced an interesting new stakes-winner overnight in Dubai where his Northern Hemisphere bred three year-old colt Brotherly Love took out the Listed Dubai Road to the Kentucky Derby Stakes (1m 1 ½ f) on the dirt.
Trained by Jamie Osborne and ridden by Saffie Osborne, Brotherly Love settled back in the field and finished hard late to win by two lengths earning 20 qualifying points towards a possible start in the Group I Kentucky Derby.
Brotherly Love is the 77th stakes-winner for Zoustar and is a half-brother to stakes-winner Heart of Honour, who was also second in the Group II UAE Derby, which is the next target race for Brotherly Love, who has the overall record of two wins and two placings from six starts.

Purchased for 40,000 guineas from the Tweenhills Stud draft at Tattersalls October Book 2 Yearling Sale by his trainer, Brotherly Love is the second stakes-winner among four foals to race from Group I winning Scat Daddy filly Ruby Love, the Champion Chilean 2YO Filly of 2016/2017.
