Brilliant Zoustar filly Sunlight takes on the older sprinters in the Group I MVRC Manikato Stakes tonight and in an omen for good fortune to come, her dam Solar Charged has delivered her seventh consecutive foal at Widden Stud.

Born at 12.35 am this morning, this stunning colt is the latest foal from former speedy filly Solar Charged, who has done a terrific job at stud producing not only $2.3 million earner Sunlight, but also Group III placed Sheikha and this season's promising two year-old filly Sisstar, who trialled impressively last week and heads to a stakes race at Flemington.
