Pinhook Winner Brings Pedigree Update

Tara Madgwick - Thursday December 20
Lightly raced Snitzel three year-old Blinder beat older rivals to score a stylish victory at Caulfield on Wednesday as a short priced favourite bringing a timely update for his Magic Millions bound half-brother by Dundeel.

Blinder was a $300,000 purchase from the NZB Ready to RunTrained by Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young, Blinder won on debut at Sale in late October and was then second and fourth at his next two starts.

Stepped up to 1440 metres for this assignment, he relished the task and carried 58.5kg to victory with Damien Oliver in the saddle.

Blinder was bought by Busuttin Racing for $300,000 from the Lyndhurst Farm draft and was a successful pinhook for them as he was bought originally from the Arrowfield draft at the Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale for $130,000.

Blinder is one of three winners from Passiflora (USA), an unraced Empire Maker mare from the family of legendary sire Danehill.

Arrowfield Stud will offer the current yearling from Passiflora, a colt by Dundeel, at Magic Millions as Lot 4.
