Breednet - Saturday August 19

"Racenet's most popular ever tipster" has a liking for a runner at Randwick which he states "may be mentioned as a Cup horse later in the spring".

LIFE LESS ORDINARY (Randwick Race 4 No 1)
We had luck with this galloper when he won for us first up at Caulfield at his first Australian start, that was over 1800m. His first-up record reads (4:2-1-0) and his good track form is (15:5-4-0). Prior to his first Aussie run had two trials, always had something up his sleeve, and his preparation this time is similar. After winning at Caulfield ran second on a soft 7 at Randwick and then was the subject of an average Kerrin McEvoy ride in the Wagga Cup when second to Stampede, gave the leader too much start after he'd had an easy run. In winning at Caulfield he ran home 10.79 seconds his last 200m that signified he was above average. Dwayne Dunn in the post-race interview stated "he's got a nice future". Let us hope young Magorrian gives him a look on top of the rise. He may well emerge as a Cups horse given that he's won over 3218m at Ascot.

ASPECT (Caulfield Race 6 No 1)
The Tony McEvoy presents this colt first up after a failed Sydney autumn when down the track in the Sires on a heavy track. On debut he won at Flemington, came with a barnstorming finish that day, followed up with ninth in the Blue Diamond. However, that Blue Diamond run was better than it looks as he ran the second best sectional late in the race. Next start just failed to round up Sirconni on a leader biased track in the Sires at Flemington. Jye McNeil had a feel of him in a recent trial at Cranbourne - nice work when always on the bridle sixth of eight on a heavy track.

STAR EXHIBIT (Caulfield Race 7 No 7)
At his first start for the Weir stable in April he won here over 1440m, time was pedestrian as they ran the first 840m in 52.22 seconds, sprinted home 34.28 seconds beating Charmed Harmony. That form looked ordinary until next start when up to 2000m on a Heavy 8 at Doomben in the Doomben Cup he was a brave second to the mudlark Sense Of Occasion. First-up form reads (4:3-0-0) and he will have residual fitness on his side as he's only been off the scene for 13 weeks. You must respect Hartnell although he's yet to win first up in seven tries.

TAHANEE (Caulfield Race 9 No 16)
Here's an import for the Weir stable that has done her recent racing in Dubai. Showed in a recent jump out that she was forward enough to give this a shake. Placed in only one of her five runs in Dubai but was close up in two others. However, did win in Argentina over 1400m in 1.21.28 seconds and over 1600m in 1.33.58 seconds, she has obvious ability and in the stable to extract that form from her. First-up form reads (3:1-1-0) and is drawn to get a cushy run.
BET: WIN
ODDS $8 Crown Bet and Bet 365.
