The Group III Sycamore Sprint at Turffontein in South Africa on Saturday was won by promising Charge Forward mare San Fermin.

Another Arrowfield bred SW, San Fermin as a yearling

Trained by Mike Azzie, San Fermin scored a long neck win in the 1160 metre sprint taking her overall record to five wins from 13 starts.

A $100,000 Magic Millions purchase for her trainer from the Arrowfield draft, San Fermin is the best of four winners from from unraced Redoute's Choice mare Choice Blend, a half-sister to triple Group I winner Bentley Biscuit.

Choice Blend died in 2018 and her last foal is a yearling colt by Real Impact (Jpn).

San Fermin is the 18^th stakes-winner for Charge Forward, who stands at Murrulla Stud.
