O'what a Lineup!

Media Release - Monday May 13

O' what a lineup! Offering tremendous value with its 3-strong roster, Victoria's Larneuk Stud has announced stallion fees for the 2019 season.

O'LonhroLeading the charge is the proven, O'Lonhro, but the Group producing son of Lonhro (83 stakes winners) is ably supported by the up and comers in Cluster (Fastnet Rock) and Wolf Cry (Street Cry).

"Larneuk offers something for everyone, with our stallions representing some of the world's leading bloodlines at realistic prices," Larneuk Stud's Neville Murdoch points out. "O'Lonhro and Cluster have both had an incredible year with their progeny, but we are holding our fees at the same level as 2018."

With a strike rate of 60% winners to runners, O'LONHRO has caught everyone's attention over the last year, with Greg Eurell's classy sprinter/miler, O'Tauto finishing third in the Group 3 CS Hayes Stakes, while Mamzelle Tess grabbed third in the Group 2 Blazer at Flemington and was a head second in the Group 3 Tesio at Moonee Valley, resuming in fine fettle with a strong win at Caulfield last month.

O'Lonhro's progeny have won over 200 races for in excess of $5 million in stakes, but importantly he has the winners of 34 races this season and $1.1 million in earnings.

Enormous value for a stallion that will stand for just $5,500 inc. GST this spring.

ClusterMeanwhile, Fastnet Rock's Group 2 winning sprinter, CLUSTER has hit the ground running with his first runner – Gee Gees Darl – hasn't finished further adrift than fourth in seven outings which include a stakes second behind Champion 2YO Mystical Pursuit, a fourth in the Listed Gold Sovereign and third in the Tasmanian Sires' Produce. With just a handful of runners he has produced the winners of multiple races and six placings.

Little wonder Cluster is off to such a great start with Fastnet Rock one of the leading sire-of-sires, while Cluster's first two dams alone have produced 13 winners from 15 to race! Cluster himself

n his 1stseason with his 1strunner Gee Gees Darl running 2ndand 4thin Listed races and 3rdin the Tasmanian Sires Produce earning over $84,000 from 7 starts. With only a handful of runners he has produced 2 wins 5 seconds and a third.

Cluster is by Champion Sire and sire of sires in Fastnet Rock and his first two dams alone have produced 13 winners from 15 to race and the pedigree emanates precocious speed. What's more, Cluster was lightning quick: capturing the Group 2 Theo Marks Stakes, finishing second in the Group 3 San Domenico in his first run at three and a neck third in the Group 2 Stutt Stakes.

Cluster stands the 2019 season at $6,600 inc. GST .

Wolf CryLarneuk Stud is also looking forward to selling the first of the WOLF CRY yearlings in 2020 as he is clearly stamping his progeny.

A son of Winx's brilliant sire, Street Cry (128 stakes winners), Wolf Cry was a speedy youngster whose only four starts at two yielded three stakes placings: the Breeders' Plate, Lonhro Plate and, in the important Golden Slipper leadup – the Group 2 Skyline Stakes – he finished third behind subsequent Group One Golden Rose Stakes winner, Exosphere.

Wolf Cry is one of two stakes horses from the multiple stakes placed Redoute's Choice 2YO, Starfish, in turn a daughter of the Group One winning sprinter, Stella Cadente.

Wolf Cry stands the 2019 season at $4,400 inc. GST.
