Demerit Relocates to Rangeview Stud

Media Release - Thursday May 23

Proven WA based sire Demerit (Lonhro – Shame) has been relocated to Rob and Jody Gray's Rangeview Stud Burekup following the recent passing of Taunton Vale Principal Kent Johnston.

DemeritCurrently running at a healthy 62.4% winners to runners and sire of Group winning two-year-olds Agent Pippa and Kiss Bang Love and outstanding three-year-old Special Reward, Demerit has proven popular with WA Breeders whilst standing eight seasons at Taunton Vale.

Nina Johnston, Taunton Vale, made the decision to syndicate the horse and relocate to Rangeview to ease the burden of running the stud.

Whilst retaining a significant shareholding Nina has been joined in the ownership by leading breeders Rangeview Stud, Geisel Park Stud, Bellbridge Park and prominent trainer and emerging breeder Brett Pope.

Demerit will stand the 2019 season $6,050 including GST making him accessible to all mare owners.
