Tara Madgwick - Thursday May 30
Not many two year-olds make their debut over 1600 metres, but obviously Gerald Ryan thought it was the right call for this blue-blooded son of Champion 3YO Filly Faint Perfume.

Redoute's Choice is the sire of Chains of HonourTuned up with three recent trials, Redoute’s Choice gelding Chains of Honour relished the mile journey, tracking the leader in the run and forging clear to win by two lengths.

A homebred for Sun Bloodstock, Chains of Honour is the fourth winner from four foals to race from Faint Perfume, whose highlight wins included the Group I VRC Oaks and Group I STC Vinery Stud Stakes.

Faint Perfume was bought by Sun Stud in 2016 at the Inglis Australian Broodmare Sale for $700,000.

She has not missed a beat for Sun Stud, producing a yearling colt by Snitzel, a weanling filly by Redoute’s Choice and is in foal to Sun Stud’s exciting young Snitzel stallion Thronum.
