His trainer Mick Price announced on Twitter that the Group I winning colt by Not a Single Doubt had died of colic.

Twitter, Mick Price Racing - Terribly sad for Mr Yaseen and everyone at the stable to lose Mighty Boss to colic. A magnificent colt with most unique personality - he will be sorely missed.

Mighty Boss won only two races but banked over $1.2 million in prizemoney proving a great investment having been purchased as a yearling at Karaka in 2016 for $180,000.
