With 107 winners of nearly $7million in prizemoney, All Too Hard has just finished a great season and put the writing on the wall for more good results to come with a ‘One to Watch’ at Hawkesbury on Thursday.

All Too HardThe Gerald Ryan trained three year-old Steely was a well backed favourite for the 1300 metre maiden and got the job done for punters with a stylish win on debut.

He jumped fast, but was happy to take a sit behind the leaders for Kerrin McEvoy and found the line strongly to win by three-quarters of a length.

An $80,000 Inglis Easter yearling purchase originally, he was bought by his trainer from the Stonehouse Thoroughbreds draft at the Inglis Ready2Race Sale last year for $115,000.

Steely is the second winner from Group I BRC Queensland Oaks winner Quintessential, so has a real mix of speed and stamina in his pedigree.

All Too Hard stands at a fee of $27,500 this year at Vinery.
