First Foal for Sebring Sun

Tara Madgwick - Friday August 9
The Listed ATC Rosebud Stakes this Saturday has drawn a quality field and in 2015 this race was won by progressive colt Sebring Sun, who is now at stud and has his first foals on the ground this spring.

Standing at Glenthorne Park Thoroughbreds, Sebring Sun covered 28 mares last spring and the first to foal is Lily Bear, who delivered this lovely bay colt. A four-time winner by Not a Single Doubt, Lily Bear comes from the family of Group I winner Ike's Dream.

Standing at the modest fee of $3,300, Sebring Sun retired with earnings in excess of $320,000 and was Group I placed when third in the Golden Rose to Exosphere and Speak Fondly.
