Prepared by Mike de Kock, three year-old All Too Hard gelding Frosted Gold claimed another Black Type win when taking out the Group III Graham Beck Stakes over 1400m taking his overall record to four wins from seven starts.
A $180,000 Inglis Premier purchase for Form Bloodstock from the Blandford Lodge draft, Frosted Gold is a half-brother to stakes-winner Sunshine Mighty and stakes-placed Maryore being the fourth winner from stakes-placed Verglas mare Mary D’Or (Fr), a sibling to Group I winners Silverwave and Stormy River.
Blandford Lodge sold a half-brother by Tavistock to Frosted Gold at Karaka Book One this year for $50,000.
Dundeel four year-old Atyaab won the Group I Kenilworth Cape Derby last season and posted his second Black Type win when taking out the Listed Java Handicap over 2400m.
Trained by Mike de Kock his overall record reads four wins and four placings from 12 starts.
A $260,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Shadwell from the Arrowfield Stud draft, Atyaab is a half-brother to stakes-winner Vesper and is the fifth winner from Group II winner Sylvaner.
An Irish bred four year-old mare (three year-old to NH time) by Exceed and Excel, Queen Supreme (IRE) has been racing through the grades for the Mike de Kock stable and took her record to four wins from five starts when scoring her first Black Type win in the Group III Yellowwood Handicap over 1800m.
A half-sister to stakes-winners Call Me Handsome and Be Ready, she is from good producer Call Later, a half-sister by Gone West to Group I winner Ventura.
She was bought by Form Bloodstock/ Mayfair Speculators for 130,000 euros at the 2017 Goffs Yearling Sale.
Queen Supreme is the 164th stakes-winner worldwide for Darley’s champion sire Exceed and Excel, who had the quinella on the Group I VRC Coolmore Stud Stakes with glamour colts Exceedance and Bivouac.
Also breaking his maiden on the same program was the Mike de Kock trained three yea-old Snitzel gelding Alameery, who won by a length over 1160 m at his third starts after two minor placings.
A $480,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Shadwell from the Bhima Thoroughbreds draft, Alameery is a half-brother to Group III placed Judicial Rock from Group III winner Judged.
