Arqana Breeding Stock Sale Now Online

Media Release - Wednesday November 6

The international success of the progeny of mares bought at the ARQANA Breeding Stock Sale (December 7 - 10) keeps growing.

This year notably saw WATCH ME win the Coronation Stakes (Gr.1) at Royal Ascot. She was sold “in utero” when her dam WATCHFUL was knocked down to Cocheese Bloodstock from Coulonces Consignment in December 2015.

On the other side of the world, ADMIRE MARS and FIEREMENT, out of VIA MEDICI and LUNE D’OR respectively, both won at the highest level in Japan. The former took the NHK Mile Cup (Gr.1), while the latter was victorious in the Tenno Sho (Gr.1). They are followed by Sydney Cup (Gr.1) winner SHRAOOH, ACCON, ALOUNAK, BIG BROTHERS PRIDE, CARTIEM, CITY LIGHT, DIAMANTA, DUBIOUS, HOPEFUL, MORGAN LE FAYE, SOFFIA, SQUARE DE LUYNES, WICHITA and ZIYAD.

This year’s edition will see 480 mares, 207 fillies, 335 foals and three stallions go through the ring at Deauville from December 7-10. The sale will start at 11am on Saturday, 10am on Sunday and 11am once more on Monday and Tuesday.

A further 12 Wild Cards are still to come, of which two on the National Hunt day. Don’t hesitate to contact the Bloodstock team for further information.
