Whittington Continues to Strike for QTIS Stallions

Grandview Stud stallion Whittington is proving one of the better value QTIS stallions as he continues to notch up early wins in the second season sire standings.

WhittingtonStanding for $6,600 (including GST), Whittington registered winner number 9 and win number 10 on Saturday (16 November) with 3 year old colt Adamdeeant (ex Sahifa) streeting his opposition by nearly 9L in a $27,000 QTIS race at Roma.

Whittington’s results so far this season have shown that his 3 year old progeny have trained on well highlighted by the Saturday city win of Stampe (ex Envelope) in a QTIS 3YO handicap over 1350m at Doomben.

Currently Whittington is well entrenched in the top 10 in the Australian second season sire standings by winners and wins, and second out of the Queensland based stallions behind Better Than Ready (service fee $33,000).

Whittington has already sired an early 2 year old winner this season with Battle Through (ex Divine Scent), a dominant 2.5L winner on debut at the Gold Coast earlier this month.

While his progeny showcase their wares on the track, the stallion himself is pleasing breeders with his potency and fertility rate at over 85 percent.
