TSHA Classes Continue at Stonewall Equestrian

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday November 26

Thoroughbred Sport Horse action moved to Stonewall Equestrian on the Central Coast last weekend with a terrific weekend of showjumping featuring classes sponsored by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott and some outstanding winners including Jessica Bott’s dashing grey mare Raise an Angel ridden by Nelson Smyth.

Raise and Angel wins the G2 class at Stonewall Equestrian's jumping weekendA winner of one of her 10 starts, eight year-old Raise an Angel had her last race in January 2016 and the eight year-old has certainly found her calling as a jumper winning the Group 2 class at 1.10 and finishing second in the Group I class at 1.20.

Her sire Floral Pegasus (by Kentucky Derby winner Fusaichi Pegasus (USA) was bred in Australia, but did his racing in Hong Kong where he was a high class performer winning multiple stakes race before returning to Australia to stand at stud.

Raise an Angel’s grey colouring comes from her mother So Super Quick, a half-sister by Octagonal to a very well known grey Group I winner in Quick Flick, who won 16 races and over $1.2million highlighted by victory in the Group I STC George Ryder Stakes.

Below are all the results and congratulations to the winners and thankyou to our sponsors.
