Moody, Bester, Lobb and Harron Make a Move

In a game sometimes confused by marketing froth and bubble, the investment of a number of notable industry insiders, hard earned money, can really stand out.

So when a bunch of the Australian racing industry’s most respected operatives make a play on a non Group 1 winning colt as a stallion , froth and bubble subsides and money where the mouth is implications, become of genuine interest.

Peter Moody and James Bester make their reasoning clear for personally investing into Kitchwin Hill’s Sooboog.

James Harron explains his move on Sooboog.

The legendary Trevor Lobb talks to why he also invested into Sooboog.

Kitchwin Hills, stud manager Mick Malone stated, “This is just one representation of just some of the leaders of industry who have invested into Sooboog.

Sooboog has his first yearlings selling in 2020“These individuals invested because they know just how fast Sooboog was. They know that as per Not A Single Doubt, Written Tycoon and I am Invincible, winning a Group 1 is not what necessarily makes a stallion. It really is quite amazing how many industry heavyweights have backed him, but it was for good reason. This validation by some of the best of the best initially gave us a high level of confidence that this stallion would be a big chance.

“I guess we won’t know for 12 months however these yearlings, that everyone is about to see, I dare say will have those that bought into him a tad excited by what is presenting in Sooboog’s first drafts.”

Sooboog’s first crop of yearlings are offered at Magic Millions, January 2020, click to see them here
