Second G1 Winner for No Nay Never

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday January 1

Coolmore shuttler No Nay Never (USA) spent a season in South America before he started visiting Australia and that lone crop of now three year-olds has delivered a Group I winner when Brooke proved a class above her rivals when taking the Grade 1 Premio Las Oaks at Club Hipico de Santiago earlier this week.

No Nay NeverA dual stakes winner and runner-up at Grade 1 level in August, the Jorge Andres Inda-trained chesnut was sent off favourite for Monday’s feature over ten furlongs.

Fourth as they turned for home, she was travelling well at the two furlong marker and took the lead with ease soon after. Keeping on well under pressure, she won by an authoritative three lengths under Jeremy Laprida.

Brooke is one of 20 stakes-winners sired by No Nay Never and is his second Group I winner joining Ten Sovereigns, who stands his first season at Coolmore Ireland in 2020 at a fee of 25,000 euros alongside his sire who commands a fee of 175,000 euros.

The second crop of Australian bred No Nay Never yearlings are being offered at sales in 2020 with 17 consigned to Magic Millions, click here to see them.
