Lot 13

A colt by Farnan, who was himself a Magic Millions yearling. He is the sire of six stakes horses from his first crop, which is the same as Ole Kirk. Farnan was the leading first season sire in 2024/25 by winners and stakes horses. Winning machines! This colt is out of a mare that won 6 races and is a half-brother to a horse that won 6 races.
OLLY'S NOTES: This is a strong, well balanced colt who moves well. He’s from a good family full of tough, talented horses. I have always been a great believer in Farnan and he is right up there with the other second season sires.

Lot 191

A filly from the first crop of the outstanding Hitotsu, a star of Australian racing. He the only horse since the champion Mahogany in 1994 to complete the Victoria Derby / Australian Guineas / Australian Derby treble. Her 3YO half-sister by Peltzer, called Cosmic Shower, is in training with Philip Stokes. Her 2YO half-sister by St Mark’s Basilica, called Lilandra, is in training with Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott. She is inbred 3 x 3 to Redoute’s Choice through Not a Single Doubt. This pattern has resulted in 4 stakes winners including the G1 winner Schwartz.
OLLY'S NOTES: Cosmic Powers always produces nice foals and this filly is no exception. She is also a product of her sire and has plenty of scope, suggesting that she will make a nice 3 year old. She’s a good mover.

Lot 218

A filly by Peltzer, the sire of the exciting Stakes winning 2 year old Buccleuch as well as Sir Loyne, Thanks Gorgeous, etc, from his first crop. Her full brother, Engleman made $260,000 at Magic Millions 2025 and was sold to Japan’s Northern Farm. UPDATE: Her half sister, Sheridan Street, is now the winner of two races. Peltzer’s Stakes placed filly Thanks Gorgeous won easily on New Year’s Day.
OLLY'S NOTES: This Peltzer filly has been gorgeous since she was born. She has great strength and has a great swing to her when she moves. Her full brother, who was sold at MM’s in 2025, is in the best of hands.

Lot 223

A first crop filly by Daumier, a Blue Diamond winner and the best two-year-old descended from Danehill’s outstanding son Commands. Her dam sire, I Am Invincible is the broodmare sire of G1 winning fillies Kimochi and Asfoora. Her 2YO half-brother by Ole Kirk, called Minello, is in training with Anthony and Sam Freedman.
OLLY'S NOTES: This is an outstanding filly. She is so strong, has plenty of scope and looks very quick. Daumier’s first crop of yearlings are filling us with confidence and this filly is a great advertisement for her sire.

Lot 463

A colt by Maurice. He is currently producing 13% stakes horses to runners and 72% winners to runners with colts. These numbers are superior to Zoustar. His 3YO half-brother by Capitalist was sold for $220,000 at the 2024 NZ Breeze Up sale to Ricky Yiu. This colt descends from a quick and classy family that includes Mazu, who is also by Maurice.
OLLY'S NOTES: Maurice is an excellent stallion who produces colts of the highest calibre. This colt has plenty of length and scope and presents as a very classy individual. He’s from a good family, through whom Maurice has produced a G 1 winner.

Lot 505

From the first crop of Co-Champion 2YO Best of Bordeaux, one of the fastest 2YO’s by Snitzel. UPDATE: Her brother, Aurio was a $700,000 yearling and a winner in Sydney. He is now in training in Hong Kong with Manfred Man and is a winner there too. UPDATE: Her brother Master Speed is in training with Brett and Georgie Kavanough and is now a winner.
OLLY'S NOTES: It is always interesting to see the progeny of first season sires. Best Of Bordeaux, was an accomplished 2 year old and this filly looks like she could be an early runner for him. She has a strong physique and an expansive walk.

Lot 610

A filly by Too Darn Hot. In 2025, he became the first shuttle stallion since More Than Ready (USA) to be crowned both Champion First and Second Season Sire in Australia. Last season Too Darn Hot produced 10 Stakes winners, seven at Group level including G1 winner Broadsiding and G2 winners Shanwah, Too Darn Discreet, Rivellino and Too Darn Lizzie. Her dam was three-time metro-level winner by I am Invincible who is emerging as an important broodmare sire. He is the broodmare sire of G1 winning fillies Kimochi and Asfoora.
OLLY'S NOTES: This filly was bred in partnership with Watership Down Stud, who bred, raced and are partners in Too Darn Hot. He is a phenomenal success in Australia. This filly moves beautifully, possesses a great shape and has a lovely head.

Lot 772

Spirit of Boom has produced 15 individual 2YO stakes winners from a total of 29 stakes winners of all ages. He is out of an I Am Invincible mare. I Am Invincible is the broodmare sire of G2 winning colts Straight Charge and Grand Prairie as well as Incognito, winner of the 2025 Breeders’ Plate. His dam, Saweetie was a $600,000 yearling at the Magic Millions before winning as a 2 year old and triumphing at metro level as a 3 year old.
OLLY'S NOTES: This colt has always taken the eye. He is big, strong and forward looking. He has a strong pedigree and is by a stallion who is consistent in his ability to produce good 2 year olds. A real Magic Millions type!

Lot 839

A filly from the first Yarraman Park crop of Brave Smash, the fastest son from the Sunday Silence sireline to stand at stud in Australia. Brave Smash is the sire of G1 winning filly Kimochi, who was a also a Group winner as a 2YO. This filly is from a good Australian family, and her dam is a winning daughter of Snitzel. He is the broodmare sire of G1 winners Private Life, Velocious and Celestial Legend.
OLLY'S NOTES: We were lucky enough to be given the opportunity to raise and sell Kimochi who is by the same stallion. Physically, this filly is very similar to her. She has a lovely head, a powerful gait, is well muscled and has great limb conformation.

Lot 857

A colt from the third Australian crop of Wootton Bassett, the sire of 2 Stakes winning colts this Southern Hemisphere season as well as Australia’s highest rated two-year-old colt of 2024 / 25, Wodeton. Wootton Bassett, at the time of his premature passing, was arguably the best turf stallion in the world. The colt’s dam Starla was a talented and tough race mare. Her sire, Snitzel, is the broodmares sire of 6 G1 winners including Celestial Legend and Private Life. Next two broodmare sires are Encosta De Lago and Last Tycoon.
OLLY'S NOTES: A beautifully bred colt who we’ve naturally paid close attention to since day one. He has never put a foot wrong and has developed into a beautiful yearling. He is masculine, well balanced and athletic with a lovely temperament.

Lot 897

A colt by Blue Point, a sire of top class colts. G1 winning colts Rosallion, Kind of Blue and Big Evs are all by Blue Point. Blue Points 2YO’s made up to NZ$375,000 at the ready to run sales in 2025. Only Too Darn Hot was ahead of him on the second season sires list in 2024 / 2025 and he is running third this year. This colt descends from the great Tennessee Vain family which in recent years has produced Snitzerland, Libertini and Cool Aza Beel.
OLLY'S NOTES: Blue Point has done very well with his colts and this fellow is typical of his sire. He is big and masculine with plenty of strength. He comes from a truly great Australian family.

Lot 918

A colt by Daumier, the only November foal ever to win the Blue Diamond. The only 2-year-old G1 winner in his crop of 6,450 colts. This colt descends from a great Woodlands/Godolphin family. Further back in the pedigree lies Classic winner Desert King. Vibrant Sun won the G1 Australasian Oaks in 2024, having been produced from a Written Tycoon mare. This colt is bred on a similar cross.
OLLY'S NOTES: This Daumier colt has been a striking individual since he was born. He has great scope, strength and a classy outlook. He comes from a terrific family and his sire was an outstanding 2 year old.

Lot 956

A colt from the 1st crop of G1 Blue Diamond winner and Australian Champion 2-year-old Daumier. He is out of a mare by Zoustar who promises to be a good broodmare sire. His daughters have already produced three Stakes winners. His dam Virgo was a $600,000 yearling. She was sold by Cambridge Stud to Godolphin and became a Sydney Metropolitan winner. Her first foal is in training with Rod Northam.
OLLY'S NOTES: A very sharp looking colt with a great stride on him. He’s always moving with purpose and looks like he will be a candidate for early races. His mother, by Zoustar, was a good racemare.

Lot 977

One of only 4 fillies in the catalogue by Street Boss, a sire that year after year delivers top class fillies. Catherine Sophia, the Kentucky Oaks winner and Tempted, the Everest runner up are amongst his stars. This season, Street Boss has sired 6 individual Stakes winners. This is bettered only by Snitzel and I Am Invincible, who have each had over twice as many runners. She has a deep pedigree, being directly descended from the notable English broodmare Lady Blackfoot.
OLLY'S NOTES: This is a big powerful filly that moves well and has a nice head. She has a strong pedigree. Street Boss is a terrific stallion who has climbed the ranks and he has done particularly well with his fillies.

Lot 997

A filly by Daumier, who was a G1 Blue Diamond winner just like top stallions Redoute’s Choice, Extreme Choice and Tagaloa. Arizona Nights’ first foal is a 2YO filly by Rebel Dane. She is in training in Adelaide with Richard and Chantelle Jolly. This filly is from a family of tough and durable winners. Her dam, Arizona Night was a fast mare who won over 1000m.
OLLY'S NOTES: This is a lovely, strong filly that is bigger than most of her sire’s progeny to date. She has developed really well over the course of her life and looks like she could be an early runner.

Lot 1153

Lot 1153 Colt by Daumier x Ravenwitch A colt from the first crop of Daumier, the only November foal to ever win the Blue Diamond. Daumier was born on November 26, which illustrates what a precocious talent he was. His dam, Ravenwitch, is by Flying Spur. He is the broodmare sire of 17 G1 winners. She was a $230,000 Easter yearling went on to be a winner and be placed in Sydney. This colt has a sharp two year old page. There are 7 horses in the first three generations of his pedigree that won or placed in the Blue Diamond Prelude.
OLLY'S NOTES: This colt looks uncannily like his sire Daumier. A neat horse, he has a great action and loads of strength. His physique and pedigree both suggest that he should be an early runner.
