Joviality Heads Invincible Quartet

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday September 2

I Am Invincible was the most successful sire on Wednesday with four winners including progressive filly Joviality, who scored a dominant victory in a competitive race at Warwick Farm.

Prepared by Chris Waller and ridden by James McDonald, Joviality galloped away from promising Snitzel colt Sixgun to win the 1100m Benchmark  64 event by more than two lengths.

A $330,000 Inglis Classic purchase for Star Thoroughbreds / Randwick Bloodstock  from the Fairhill Farm draft, Joviality has the overall record of two wins and three placings from six starts with prizemoney in excess of $80,000.

She was bred by Reg Kemister and is the third winner from four to race from Fastnet Rock mare Limbo Down who comes from the family of Group III winner Handsome Ransom and stakes-winner Danajaya.

The same purchasers signed for her full sister at Inglis Classic this year for $350,000 and she has been named Affability.

Star Thoroughbreds have had plenty of success with I Am Invincible fillies, notably with Fiesta, who was the Darley Princess Series winner in 2018 and Group I winner Invincibella, who was sold recently at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale for $1.3million.

The leading sire last season by winners, I Am Invincible has taken an early lead again this year on the same table with 32 winners including two stakes-winners Dame Giselle and Holyfield.

Standing at Yarraman Park a fee of $209,000, I Am Invincible has started working through another stellar book of mares.
