Mikki Isle Colt Stars at Warwick Farm MM Breeze Ups

A member of the first Australian crop of former Japanese champion Mikki Isle shone at today's Warwick Farm breeze ups leading into next month's Magic Millions Gold Coast 2YOs in Training Sale.

The colt, catalogued as Lot 181, clocked a slick 10.24 seconds in his 200 metre breeze highlighting an impressive line up of youngsters to go through their paces at the Sydney based session.

Mikki Isle is the sire of Lot 181

A member of the O'Gorman Racing Stables draft from Tamworth, the brown colt is the third foal of the unraced Redoute's Choice mare In the Clear, who is a daughter of the Group One winning mare Clean Sweep.

Aside from the Mikki Isle colt the next five quickest on the clock were: 

  • 10.45 - Lot 137 - Starspangledbanner-Doncella colt (O'Gorman Racing Stables)
  • 10.49 - Lot 64 - Hinchinbrook-Silent Eyes colt (O'Gorman Racing Stables)
  • 10.58 - Lot 43 - Shalaa-River Romance colt (O'Gorman Racing Stables)
  • 10.59 - Lot 65 - Super One-Simply Fantastic colt (O'Gorman Racing Stables)
  • 10.59 - Lot 203 - Nicconi-Life's Zerprise colt (KBL Thoroughbreds)
Some 24 lots breezed today and completed the second of four breeze up sessions around the country.

The third session will be held tomorrow at the Gold Coast Turf Club.
