Fuji Kiseki Dead at 23

Former Arrowfield shuttle sire Fuji Kiseki (Jap) has been reported to have died in Japan at the age of 23, the son of Sunday Silence best known in Australia as sire of the dams of Group I stars Kermadec, Your Song and Yosei.

A stunning near black horse like his sire, Fuji Kiseki shuttled to Australia for five seasons between 1998 and 2002 and has sired some 65 stakes-winners worldwide.

His best Australian bred offspring was globe-trotting Group I winner Sun Classique, who starred in South Africa before conquering the world in the Group I Sheema Classic in Dubai.
