New Stakes-Winners for Territories and Sir Prancealot

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday October 20

Darley shuttler Territories (IRE) sired his second stakes-winner overnight when two year-old filly Rougir won the Group III Prix des Reservoirs (1m) at Deauville, while Cornerstone Stud’s Sir Prancealot (IRE) sired Prince Lancealot to win the Listed Prix Zeddaan (6f) on the same program.

Third in the Group I Prix Marcel Boussac, Rougir was knocking on the door of winning a stakes race and scored by half a neck to take her overall record to three wins and two placings from six starts.

A Group I winning son of Invincible Spirit, Territories has his first Australian runners this season and is back at Darley NSW this spring at a fee of $11,000.

Prince Lancealot was a winner at Saint Clopud and Group III placed going into this race and scored a dominant two and a half length win, his second from four starts.

He becomes the ninth stakes-winner worldwide for Sir Prancealot, who also has his first Australian runners this season and is back at Cornerstone Stud at a fee of $9,900.
