Juvenile Trial Watch – Hawkesbury

Tara Madgwick - Monday November 16

Godolphin unleashed two smart juvenile winners last Saturday in Anamoe and Sliders with the Hawkesbury trials on Monday showcasing another filly that has future winner for them written all over her.

From the last crop Australian crop of foals by Teofilo (IRE), who sired Twilight Payment to win the Melbourne Cup, two year-old filly Vianello was an eye-catching heat winner for Rachel King.

The James Cummings trained filly jumped well and went straight to the front at her first public outing, cruising home to win by nearly four lengths in the quickest time of the three juvenile heats.

Vianello is a half-sister to stakes-placed Nonpareil and is from stakes-winning Lonhro mare Serenissima, whose next three dams are all stakes-winners – Santissima, Sashed and then Shaybisc -  this family having produced Group I winners Freemason and Mental.

Two additional heats were won by Never Cry (Pride of Dubai) and Allusionist (Super One).
