Perth Yearling Sale Delayed by Three Days

Media Release - Friday February 5

Magic Millions, in consultation with local industry bodies, today announces that the 2021 Perth Yearling Sale will be delayed by three days and now be held on February 18 and 19.

Magic Millions Perth has been delayed three days.

The delay in the commencement of the auction is to alleviate issues emanating after recent COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions for the Perth, Peel and South West regions and the recent local bushfire situation.

"Taking all issues into consideration and after speaking with our industry partners including RWWA and TBWA we found it necessary to delay the sale by a few days," Magic Millions Managing Director Barry Bowditch said.

"The new dates will enable vendors, prospective buyers and industry members to have confidence in the auction and enable participation in a COVID safe environment."

Instead of commencing with Day One of the sale on February 15, the sale will now commence three days later on February 18 with the first of over 300 lots at the auction to be offered from 1pm (WA time).

Accordingly official inspections will commence at the Magic Millions Sales Complex in Middle Swan from Sunday 14 February.
