Country Sunrise Starts the Day for Inglis Touring Party

Tara Madgwick - Thursday March 25

A day that starts off looking like this just has to be good!

How good is that!

You know you’re not in the city anymore when you wake up to this view and Thursday only got better with the Fernrigg Farm Inglis Easter draft featuring half a dozen gorgeous horses including Lot 418, one of only two fillies in the sale from the last crop of champion sire Redoute’s Choice.

She is the second foal of Australian bred, South African raced Mella Maria, a Group II winner, whose first foal, a filly conceived in the Northern Hemisphere by Golden Horn, sold for $170,000 at Magic Millions last year.

Mella Maria was bought by Fernrigg Farm for $340,000 at the 2019 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale when carrying this filly and has since produced a colt by Fastnet Rock and is in foal to Snitzel.
