Slipper Contender a Torryburn Star

Tara Madgwick - Thursday March 25

Torryburn Stud provided a stop on the way home for the Inglis touring party and their draft features the half-brother to this Saturday’s leading Golden Slipper fancy Home Affairs, who they sold at Inglis Easter last year for $875,000.

Lot 428 is by Golden Slipper winner Capitalist and is the  third foal from Miss Interiors, whose first two foals are Group I placed Aysar and Group II ATC Silver Slipper Stakes winner Home Affairs.

From the family of dual Group I winner promising sire Russian Revolution, this colt will be one that could smash it right out of the park for Capitalist, who has three runners in this year’s Golden Slipper in Profiteer, Captivant and Kalashnikov.
