Valiant Stud Classic Colt for Inglis Easter

Fergal Connolly has just the one entry for Inglis Easter to be offered under the Valiant Stud banner, but when you take a look at this colt you can see why this horse is well worth presenting at Australia’s number one yearling sale.

Lot 442 - click to see his page.

From the second Australian crop of Triple Crown hero American Pharoah (USA), Lot 442 is the first foal of stakes-winning Poet’s Voice (GB) mare My Country, whose next two dams are by champion sires Danehill and Shirley Heights.

My Country had plenty of dash and precocity, three of her four wins coming as a juvenile, and all of her wins over 1000 and 1200m.

Bred by Peter James of Sunninghill Park and offered on their behalf, the colt has a mix of speed and stamina in his pedigree that should see him mature into a stunning three year-old.

“This horse typifies an Australian racehorse even though his breeding suggests otherwise, his attitude to work and his walk set him apart in my eyes,” said Fergal Connolly.

See him parading at Barn H Stable 57.
