Inevitable Return to Form

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday December 15

He may be little, but he be mighty – star Tasmanian Dundeel gelding The Inevitable was having his second run back from a spell at Launceston last night and hit top form to win the $100,000 Listed Conquering Stakes (1400m).

Trained by Scott Brunton, The Inevitable was heavily backed into short priced favouritism and scored a dominant length and a half win in the WFA  feature.

A Group III winner and multiple Listed winner as well as winning the $500,000 ATC Silver Eagle, The Inevitable has a tremendous will to win and has the overall record of 10 wins from 22 starts with earnings topping $820,000.

A $90,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase for David Brunton from the Cornerstone Stud draft, The Inevitable was bred by Tori Park Stud.

He is a half-brother to Group III winner Blahnik and stakes-winner Elysees being one of 11 winners from sensational producer Gift Bouquet, a stakes-winning daughter of Kings High.

Born when she was 21, The Inevitable was her final foal as she died in 2018.

The Inevitable is the fourth stakes-winner this season for Dundeel who has 26 entries for Magic Millions.
