Tara Madgwick - Monday December 27

Proven Thoroughbreds /O’Dea Hoysted Racing upped the ante at the 2021 Magic Millions Yearling Sale paying $450,000 for a Snitzel filly bred on a ‘nick that clicks’ and she made a winning debut at the Sunshine Coast on Monday .

Stroll was a $450,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Baramul Stud draft.

Bred and offered for sale by Gerry Harvey’s Baramul Stud, Stroll is the first foal from Walk the Streets, a winning half-sister by Street Cry (IRE) to stakes-placed Sebrakate and Quattro Katie from stakes-winner Kakakakatie.

The family traces to stakes-winner St Klaire with Group I winners , Bonanova, Telesto and Fraternity all appearing ion the page.

Jamie Walter of Proven Thoroughbreds and Gerry Harvey discuss the merits of Stroll as a yearling after the sale in the video below.

Stroll is bred on a very successful nick with Snitzel over daughters of Street Cry running at 100% success with eight winners from eight to race highlighted by Group II winner Sandbar.

There is one yearling bred on this cross entered for Magic Millions and it’s Lot 567 from Segenhoe Stud, a Snitzel colt from US stakes-winner Street Secret (USA), and she is already the dam of a Group I placed stakes-winner in Frankely Awesome.
