Arrowfield Stud’s champion sire Snitzel flexed his muscles at Caulfield on Saturday to sire a new 2YO stakes-winner, the sire of the sire of another new 2YO stakes-winner and also the dam of the winner of the Group II sprint on the card.

Stunning Snitzel colt Lofty Strike wins the Group III MRC Blue Diamond Prelude, read about him here.

He is the 74th Group winner and 118th stakes-winner for Snitzel and the first to be bred from a daughter of Exceed and Excel, the nick having had three winners from five runners.
