Inglis Easter Unraced Triallers Report

Tara Madgwick - Thursday March 24

This popular innovation at Breednet seeks to shed light on those mystery unraced siblings to yearlings entered for Inglis Easter, so let’s take a look at some of the most interesting.

Lot 28 is a Zoustar filly from stakes-placed Workdrinks and is the second foal of the dam which begs the question of what about the first? That would be 2YO I Am Invincible colt Lubrication and he won his second trial at Rosehill in February and is trained by Matt Dunn and was mentioned in this Juvenile Trial Watch story.

Lot 35 is a filly by Dundeel from Group I SAJC Schweppes Oaks winner Abbey Marie and is the second foal of her dam, whose first foal is a 2YO Deep Impact filly called Jolted trained by John Sargent.

Lot 35

She’s bred to be an Oaks filly, but has shown enough in her three trials to date to indicate that is a real possibility and you can read more in this Juvenile Trial Watch story.

Lot 83 is a Russian Revolution colt from Breannon, who has an unraced 3YO Pierro gelding called Texerro trained by Richard Litt.

Lot 83

Texerro has had three trials in town for two wins and a second and is entered to race at Canberra next week.

Lot 145 is an I Am Invincible filly from Group II winner Ektifaa and is the second foal of her dam, whose first foal is a 2YO colt by Muhaarar called Libertaar.

Lot 145

He won a trial this week and you can read about him in this Juvenile Trial Watch story.

Lot 348 is an I Am Invincible filly that is a half-sister to Everest winner Classique Legend and HK G2 winner Aethero.

Her dam Pinocchio has had three to race all winners and her unraced So You Think 3YO gelding Fairy Legend is making good progress for Les Bridge, who trained Classique Legend. He finished well for a close second at his most recent trial and a patient approach may well be rewarded.

Lot 349 is a filly by The Autumn Sun from Group I VRC Oaks winner Pinot and is the second foal of her dam, whose first foal is Snitzel 2YO colt Burgunder trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott.

Lot 349

He won a trial on March 18 and you can read about him in this Juvenile Trial Watch story.

Lot 423 is a Fastnet Rock colt from Shrill (GB), who has an unraced 3YO Frankel colt called Shrill Whistle that is trained by Ciaron Maher and David Eustace.

Lot 423

Shrill Whistle been placed in his only two trials in Sydney and is entered for Warwick Farm next Wednesday.

Lot 432 is a Maurice (Jpn) filly from Group I placed stakes-winner Soft Sand, whose 2YO filly also by Maurice is called Killiako.

Lot 432

Trained by Phillip Stokes, she has trialled once for an impressive win at Morphettville in January.
