Kingstar Farm Quality to Shine at Inglis May

Kingstar Farm had the honour of selling the top lot at last year’s Inglis HTBA May Yearling Sale when their Russian Revolution colt from Lucinda’s Moon (USA) sold for $145,000 and they have high expectations for their consignment for this year’s sale which will be run at Riverside Stables this Sunday.

A proven Group I producer thanks to Golden Slipper winning Champion 2YO Stay Inside, Kingstar Farm will present a diverse draft of 15 that includes the only yearling in the sale by outstanding sire Dundeel and one of only two colts by Russian Revolution, whose stocks have soared since last year.

Russian Revolution is the leading first season sire in the country and his service fee has soared to $71,500 with his yearlings this year selling for up to $850,000 with his offspring in hot demand.

Lot 35 Filly Capitalist x Botricello, by Medaglia D’Oro (USA)

By Australia’s leading second crop sire by winners Capitalist and is the third foal of an unraced half-sister to Group III placed Almanzora and daughter of stakes-winner Palomares. From the family of Group I MRC Blue Diamond winner and Champion 2YO Filly Earthquake.


Lot 50 Filly Shalaa (IRE) x Cross Court, by Snitzel

 

By one of the leading second crop sires Shalaa (IRE) and is a half-sister to a winner from a well bred three-quarter sister-in-blood to Group III winner Oakleigh Girl from the family of Group I MRC Oakleigh Plate winner Miss Kournikova.

Lot 69 Colt Bull Point x Dollhouse, by Snitzel


By Kingstar Farm’s very useful sire Bull Point, a proven source of winners and stakes horses. Dam is a metro winning three-quarter sister to Group II winning sprinter Unprentious and has the perfect record of five foals to race and all are winners. From the family of Group I winners Rockabubble and Chortle.

Lot 143 Colt Russian Revolution x Lady Antebellum, by Hussonet (USA)

One of only two colts in the sale by leading first crop sire Russian Revolution and is a half-brother to a winner from a metro winning Hussonet mare from the family of Group I winners Bluebird the Word, Porto Rossa, Monterosso and Silent Sedition.

Lot 168 Colt Dundeel x Marquardt, by Shamardal (USA)

The only yearling in the sale by Dundeel and is importantly a colt, given he has sired 17 SW’s and 14 of them are colts/geldings. Half-brother to two winners from quality multiple Group II placed stakes-winner Marquardt, a half-sister to the dam of juvenile stakes-winner Avonallo.

By Group I sire Spirit of Boom, who is having a great run with his 2YO’s this season. Second foal of metro winning half-sister by Northern Meteor to stakes-winner Torah and is eligible for the lucrative QTIS scheme.
