Pedigree Watch UK- Galileo Again

Tara Madgwick - Thursday May 5

A day after breaking the world record for stakes-winners with two new promising 3YO SW’s, the legendary Galileo moved to 350 stakes-winners with victory in the Listed Chester Dee Stakes (1m2 ½ f) by yet another progressive 3YO in Star of India.

Trained by Aidan O’Brien , Star of India won his only start last year at two and was fifth in the Group III Craven Stakes at his first run this year behind Native Trail.

Entered for the Epsom and Irish Derbies, he relished his first try at a staying trip and forged clear to win by more than two lengths.
