Nature Strip Stars on New Pedigrees 360 Software

Media Release - Thursday June 16

With his brilliant win in the King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot on Tuesday night, Nature Strip confirmed his place as the world’s best sprinter. Quite an achievement for a horse that was passed in as a yearling. How can yearling buyers ensure that they don’t let such opportunities slip through their fingers in future? Promoters of the revolutionary new pedigree software Pedigrees 360, which was released this month say their software provides the answer.

Renowned pedigree expert, Leo Tsatsaronis who developed the software said, “It really is quite amazing how often the software can identify these future outstanding horses. You only need to look at Nature Strip’s 360 profile to see he has an outstanding pedigree which was likely to produce an outstanding horse. Assuming, of course, that all was well with his actual biomechanics.”

His Cluster Profile above is excellent but he has a rare pattern of intensifying buildups of NEARCO and HYPERION , you can see on this chart he has both these ancestors building from Gen 7 to Gen 8 to Gen 9

Not only does he have these ancestors duplicated but they also have sex balancing in every generation, a pattern you see in most outstanding racehorses.

Tsatsaronis said he has been overwhelmed by the immediate response to the release of the Pedigrees 360 software with breeders both here in Australia and overseas immediately signing up to subscriptions.

“Yes, we have been delighted with the number and range of people signing up, from small breeders with just a couple of mares through to major studs," he said.

“The fact that in the first two weeks, we have already sold to breeders and trainers in the U.S., Europe, and UK has been really encouraging. Obviously, all these people want to make certain they don’t get left behind when it comes to ensuring they stay at the forefront of the industry. They want to have the best possible tools in pedigree analysis to assist in breeding or buying top quality horses….. and avoiding the slow ones.

“There is quite a thirst for Linebreeding analysis amongst breeders , and our software provides them with a tool that allows them to look deeper than traditional pedigree tools.”
