Promising Start for Zululand

Media Release - Monday August 15

Zululand's progeny have shown plenty to be excited about over recent weeks.

Zululand

Lieutenant Lewis scored from another son of Zululand in Muscle Up and were too strong for their opposition despite both horses being on debut. They have both been turned out for a spell now and will be aimed at the 3YO classic races over the Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival.

Chester Warrior who ran a very courageous 3rd at Caulfield on debut last month went out at his next start as a very short priced favourite at Swan Hill and won accordingly annihilating his rivals by 5 lengths eased down.

The Lindsay Park Team have an enormous opinion of Chester Warrior and described the horse as having "untapped ability".

Chester Warrior will have his next start in town where he will be incredibly hard to beat and will then be aimed at some of the key 3YO races through the spring carnival.

Grenville Stud are very excited by what his progeny have done to date from very limited runners and with horses like Chester Warrior, Lieutenant Lewis, Muscle Up, Zufasta & Amabutho having exciting spring and summer camapaigns ahead now is the time to be breeding to Zululand.

Zululand standing the 2022 breeding season for $5,500 inc GST.
