Darley Announce 2023 European Fees

Tara Madgwick - Thursday November 10

Darley have announced fees for their European stallion roster which features eight stallions currently in Australia.

The roster is headed by Dubawi, who has had a big increase rising from £250,000 to £350,000 following a stellar year in which he has sired 43 stakes-winners, seven of them Group I winners.

Dubawi stands at a fee of 350,000 pounds or $A617,795

New to the list is Naval Crown, the fastest son of Dubawi.

When winning the Group I Platinum Jubilee at this year’s Royal Ascot, Naval Crown beat no fewer than 11 G1 winners including Highfield Princess, Kinross, Alcohol Free, Campanelle and Minzaal. He was also the first colt home in this year’s Group I July Cup, this time with five G1 winners behind him.

He broke his maiden by four and a half lengths in the prestigious Convivial Maiden and at three, was Champion Three-year-Old in the UAE, taking the Meydan Classic where he finished ahead of Master Of The Seas.

Naval Crown will stand at a fee of €15,000 and is one of six stallions on the roster by Dubawi.

Night of Thunder, who has four yearlings entered for Magic Millions 2023, has had his fee raised to €100,000, up from €75,000.
