Hot on the heels of retirement news for Group I BRC Queensland Oaks winner Gypsy Goddess, who heads to stud in Japan, comes an announcement from the Michael Freedman stable regarding the retirement of triple Group I winner Forbidden Love.

The $2.2million earner suffered an injury when unplaced in the Group II ATC Expressway Stakes on Saturday and has run her last race leaving the track with eight wins and seven placings from 29 starts with highlight victories in the Group I ATC George Ryder Stakes, Canterbury Stakes and Surround Stakes.

The star daughter of All Too Hard will be a big ticket item if she is offered at public auction at the breeding stock sales this year.
