$2million Inglis Millennium Field and Barrier Draw

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday February 7

The field for the $2million Inglis Millennium (1200m) at Randwick this Saturday has been decided with race favourite Learning to Fly set a task when drawing barrier 19!

The full field plus emergencies also features Inglis Banner winner Arkansaw Kid, who has also drawn poorly in 18, and Inglis Nursery winner Saltaire alongside the colt in gate 17.

A couple of talented fillies come right into the mix after drawing favourably in Facile, Lazzago and Kundalini, who is the most expensive runner having been bought by James Harron Bloodstock for $1.7million at Inglis Easter.

A half-sister by I Am invincible to Group III winner Rise of the Masses from Group I winning 2YO Ruud Awakening, the Maher Eustace trained Kundalini ran terrific on debut chasing home highly rated colt Don Corleone at Randwick.

Facile made her debut in the $500,000 Inglis Nursery in December for which she started favourite, but the daughter of Trapeze Artist went down narrowly in a tight finish to Saltaire. She’s going to take a power of catching this time from barrier one.

Lazzago is one of four runners in the race for Capitalist, who is the most represented sire at Inglis Classic this year. She powered home to win her only start at Randwick and will be hitting the line hard.
