Bookies get the lot after scratching of Admire Deus

'All-In' betting can be a risky business as was shown Tuesday morning after Japanese import Admire Deus suffered a leg injury which ruled him out for the remainder of the spring carnival.

Ladbrokes, Sportsbet and CrownBet recorded a number of big bets on the highly regarded galloper in the Caulfield and  Melbourne Cup's before news broke on Tuesday that the seven-year-old had sustained a devastating injury which would rule him out for the Spring and possibly spell the end of his racing career.

Below are just some of the big bets recorded on Admire Deus in Caulfield Cup all-in markets that are now worthless.
