Entries Open for the 2024 Inglis Select Yearling Sales Series

In 2023, Inglis yearling sales achieved a higher average and median that its nearest Australian competitor, as well as attracting more official buyers at Classic, Premier and Easter per 100 horses sold, ensuring more vendors achieved the results they dream about.

The 2024 season will again consist of five primary yearling sales – Classic, Premier, Easter, Gold and HTBA.

The 2023 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale was topped by The Autumn Sun filly from Via Africa (SAfr).

In what was a hugely successful sales season just completed:

*Classic averaged $102,600 with a clearance rate of 87% with more domestic and international buyers per yearling sold than ever before

*Premier enjoyed its third-highest turnover in history including it’s highest-priced filly ever at $1.1m

*Easter again proved itself as Australasia’s best yearling sale, with 26 $1m+ lots sold at a sale average of $386,053

*A total of 129 individually listed buyers spent $500,000 or more through the Inglis Yearling Sales Series in 2023

*A total of 91 individually listed vendors had receipts of $500,000 or more through the Inglis Yearling Sales Series in 2023

*$47,815,000 was spent by 115 individually listed international buyers

*Inglis has produced more G1-winning colts, more G1-winning fillies and mares, more G1 winners overall and more winners of the $1m+ races since 2018, ensuring buyers will again focus their spend at Riverside and Oaklands in 2024.

Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch said the focus on the 2024 sales was to establish the best options with breeders and vendors to deliver their best results with Inglis.
