$360,000 Written Tycoon filly from Mulhima.

Topping the list was a Written Tycoon filly from Mulhimah, who produced her first winner at Doomben on Wednesday when Grand Meteor (4m Deep Field) scored at her second start. She made $360,000 for Sledmere when bought by Dodmark Thoroughbreds and is the third foal of unraced Snitzel mare Mulhima, a half-sister to Group I winner Almalad from the family of dual Group I winner Samaready, the dam of Golden Slipper winner Shinzo. This season’s Group III ATC Canonbury Stakes winner Prost is a new addition to the family.

As a weanling.

She was bred by Emirates Park and sourced from their draft at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale for $50,000 by Sledmere Stud/Cangon.

$320,000 Hellbent filly from Rose of Savannah.

Nick Taylor’s Riverstone Lodge were the leading vendors by average selling eight yearlings at an average $190,000, well above the sale average of $93,559, and their shining light was the $320,000 Hellbent filly from Rose of Savannah.

Bought by BK Racing and Breeding, the was sourced by Belmont Bloodstock for $150,000 at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale from the Baramul Stud draft.

The highest priced yearling at Inglis Classic for Hellbent, the star filly is the second foal of well bred Fastnet Rock mare Rose of Savannah, a two time winner from the family of Cox Plate winning champion sire Savabeel as well as Group I winners Savannah Success and Black Heart Bart. The first foal from Rose of Savannah is a colt by Brazen Beau that was bought at Magic Millions last year for $80,000 by Kelly Schweida Racing. Named Brazen Act, he scored an easy barrier trial win at Doomben earlier this week and looks a talented type for the future.

$180,000 Justify (USA) colt from Bank On This.

HP Thoroughbreds were well rewarded for their colt by Justify (USA) from Bank on This that made $180,000 when purchased by Domeland. He is the second foal of a half-sister by Lope de Vega to the dams of Group I winner Yourdeel and Group III winner Broadband from the family of Australian Horse of the Year Anamoe.

AS a weanling.

The colt was a savvy purchase for HP Thoroughbreds from the Inglis Great Southern Weanling Sale where he was plucked from the draft of Arrandale Stud for $40,000.
