Four Length Winner for Cosmic Force

Tara Madgwick - Thursday May 16

Opening his account with a dazzling four length victory at Grafton on Thursday was talented Cosmic Force gelding Cosmic Fire.

Taking on older rivals in the 1115m maiden, the Billy Healey trained youngster had a wing on every foot, flying the gates to lead and then slipping away in the straight to win as he pleased.

An $80,000 Magic Millions purchase for Billy Healey Racing/Furlong Bloodstock/On Fire Racing from the Sullivan Bloodstock draft, Cosmic Fire improved on his debut fourth to Spywire in the Aquis Gold Nugget at the Gold Coast in January and will no doubt target the $1million Magic Millions National 2YO Classic (1050m) at Doomben on May 25.
