Daily Debutants

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday February 14
Arrowfield Stud blue hen La Bamba will be shooting for her tenth winner at Morphettville on Wednesday.

Maracas is a full sister to WandjinaA remarkable daughter of Last Tycoon (IRE), La Bamba was retired from stud duties in 2015 and her last foal, a three year-old filly by Snitzel called Maracas is set to make her debut for the Phillip Stokes stable in Race Two.

The filly was retained to race by Arrowfield and is a full sister to Group I VRC Australian Guineas winner Wandjina.

La Bamba has also left Group I HK Sprint winner Inspiration, stakes-winner and sire Lucky Unicorn and stakes-winner Provence, the dam of HK stakes-winner My Admiration and South African stakes-winner Banaadeer.

Win, lose or draw, Maracas will be a valuable addition to the Arrowfield broodmare band when her racing days are done.
