Militarize is not the only Group I winning colt, whose stud career has gone awry this spring with Darley today announcing 2022 Group I MRC Caulfield Guineas winner Golden Mile will also be heading back into work.

A multiple Group winner in addition to his Caulfield Guineas victory, the son of Astern was priced at $16,500 for his debut season at Darley Victoria, but the season has not gone smoothly with Darley issuing a Tweet outlining plans for his future.

Golden Mile is the best of four winners from his dam Calaverite, a stakes-winning daughter of Lonhro that has foaled this spring for Darley producing a colt by I Am Invincible.
