Inglis Premier Preview on Sky This Monday Night

Join Caroline Searcy for an in-depth preview of the 2025 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale Monday night on Sky Thoroughbred Central from 8.30pm.

Featuring select yearlings from established and some younger stud operations you’ll get a first look at the cream of the Victorian yearling crop bound for the Oakland Junction sale ring from Sunday March 2 to Tuesday March 4.

Caroline Searcy and Rosemont Stud’s Anthony Mithen with lot 201 – a Frankel colt from Heavenly Curlin, from the family of Redoute’s Choice.

Rosemont Stud leads the way with their huge success in producing local and international stakes-winners from Premier drafts, including $22 million earner Bella Nipotina, Santa Ana Lane, Hey Doc, this year’s top juvenile Palm Angel and many more. Other Premier vendors featured include Musk Creek Farm, Morning Rise Stud, Rushton Park, Shadow Hill Thoroughbreds and Balius Farm.

Australia’s proven sires are well represented including I Am Invincible, Zoustar, Snitzel, Wootton Bassett, Shamus Award, Toronado, Russian Revolution, Maurice and more.  The young brigade also features  yearlings by Home Affairs, Ole Kirk, Harry Angel, Hanseatic, Bivouac, Extreme Warrior, Pinatubo, Doubtland and others with international representation through breed-shapers such as Frankel and Savabeel .

The one- hour preview airs on Sky Thoroughbred Central (Foxtel Ch 528) at 8.30pm (AEDST) Monday February 24 and will be replayed through the week on Sky.

Juddmonte Farms based champion sire Frankel has exerted a powerful presence on the Magic Millions this year and had a second million dollar yearling on Thursday when the Newgate Farm consigned colt from Miss Alacrity (USA) sold for $1.1million.
Coolmore Sell $1.5million Snitzel Colt
Tom Magnier has invested heavily in elite racemares in recent years to add to the Coolmore broodmare band and one of them was Group II winner Vangelic, whose first foal was the top seller in Friday’s final Book 1 session at Magic Millions.
